TORM Major Shareholder OCM Njord Exits Full Stake
OCM Njord Holdings has divested its entire position in TORM plc, the Danish tanker firm disclosed under Copenhagen market rules.
TORM plc, the Denmark-based tanker company listed on NASDAQ under the ticker TRMD, disclosed Thursday that a major institutional shareholder has fully exited its position in the firm, triggering a mandatory transparency notice under Danish securities law.
According to the announcement filed pursuant to Section 30 of the Danish Capital Markets Act, OCM Njord Holdings S.à r.l., referred to as Njord Luxco, ceased to hold any shares or voting rights in TORM as of October 6, 2026. The disclosure represents a complete unwinding of the entity's stake rather than a partial reduction.

Under Danish capital markets regulations, companies are required to publicly disclose when significant holders cross certain ownership thresholds — including a drop to zero — ensuring transparency for investors on both sides of the Atlantic given TORM's dual NASDAQ listing.
TORM operates a fleet of product tankers and has maintained a prominent presence on U.S. and European exchanges. The company did not indicate in the filing what prompted the divestiture or whether any strategic changes are expected following the ownership change. No buyer or transaction counterparty was identified in the public disclosure.
