Rentana Launches AI Lease-Up Mode for Multifamily Revenue Management
Rentana's new Lease Up Mode targets the gap in multifamily pricing tools, offering AI-driven demand forecasting from pre-lease through stabilization.
Rentana has introduced what it describes as the first revenue management platform feature built specifically for multifamily lease-up properties, the company announced Wednesday from Dallas. The new Lease Up Mode is designed to guide operators with data-backed pricing recommendations and demand forecasting from the earliest pre-lease phase all the way through asset stabilization.
Lease-up properties — newly constructed or newly acquired apartment communities filling vacancies for the first time — have historically posed a challenge for revenue management software, which is typically optimized for stabilized assets with established occupancy histories. Rentana's offering attempts to close that gap by delivering AI-generated insights tailored to the unique demand curves of properties without a rental track record.

The platform combines pricing recommendations, demand forecasting, and artificial intelligence insights into a single continuous workflow, according to the company. Operators no longer need to rely on separate tools or manual modeling to carry a lease-up plan from initial marketing through full occupancy, Rentana said.
The announcement positions Rentana as a direct competitor to legacy revenue management systems that have been slower to address lease-up-specific functionality. As multifamily developers face pressure to stabilize new inventory quickly in a competitive rental market, tools that shorten the lease-up timeline carry meaningful financial implications for asset performance and investor returns.
